Sofía Vergara
Biography
Vergara, 1990'ların sonlarında İspanyolca televizyon ağı Univision için iki televizyon programını birlikte sunarken ön plana çıktı. İngilizce olarak ilk dikkate değer oyunculuk deneyimi 2003 yapımı Chasing Papi filmindeydi. Daha sonra Four Brothers (2005) ve Tyler Perry'nin komedileri Meet the Browns (2008) ve Madea Goes to Jail (2009) filmlerinde yer aldı ve bu son film için ALMA Ödülü'ne aday gösterildi. 2009'da, ABC komedi dizisi Modern Family'de Gloria Delgado-Pritchett karakterini oynamaya başladı ve bu rolüyle dört Altın Küre Ödülü, dört Primetime Emmy Ödülü ve on bir Screen Actors Guild Ödülüne aday gösterildi.
